It's been awhile since i had the chance to come on here and write something. This has the been by far the busiest semester yet. Things won't cool down from here on but it's a good thing. This semester my classes have been requiring me to spend many hours in the labs and work on projects, instead of spending hours in the library studying and reading like last semester. My projects required so much time from me that i had to drop a class but it was for the best, because now i feel soo relaxed and not like i needed to jump off a bridge. Plus it was my first class that i ever dropped so i'm ok. It's not that big of a deal. I know i mentioned before that i joined a co-ed fraternity called APO. Well they have taken up much of my time. It's been good tho, meeting many people, it keeps me busy, it's a good social life and it looks good on my resume cuz it's  a community service fraternity. Actually this weekend is my first college formal and i'm really excited!! About 2 weeks ago i got really sick. Like i had the flu and strip throat. It was kinda yucky. I'm still with this boy in my life. He is simply wonderful. We have spent basically everyday together. He even came up to visit me during break and met my family on Easter. He did a really good job impressing and sucking up to my family. lol It will be 3 months on the 22nd, but trust me, it feels much longer than that. Next weekend will be my BIRTHDAY!! I will 20!!  Exciting thing, if i may say so. I have 19 days and a month left until i leave for Spain!!  I am soooo excited to go! Going to Europe has been a childhood dream of mine. I've always traveled but mostly down south. I always wanted to go somewhere else and i finally am. It's not a big achievement but i always wanted to study abroad in college and i'm doing just that. Before i leave tho, i have to attend my best friend's wedding and i'm a brides maid now. So i'm very excited for that as well! When i come back from Spain, my family from Mexico is coming back up and 2 weeks later will be my cousin's Quince. Another great party to attend to. Summer will be filled with many trips to many places. Next year's housing assignment is with 4 great girls. I will be leaving in a house and i'm very excitied for that. I basically have many great things ahead of me. Living life baby!  The only sadden thing is that i've become so busy that i will not have a chance to go home until i move out for the school year and i can't even decide when i want my parents to visit me because i have no time for them. I want then to come down for my birthday, but the following weekend i have a band concert and i wanted them to come down that weekend. Well i have an APO thing to do afterwards and basically i don't have time.  Very sad.

So my biggest achievement for the day is that i donated blood today for the first time. *happy face*

I always weighed too little and now, because of stupid college, lets say i weight a little more than the required amount to give blood is. lol  I was nervous and made my friend hold my hand. It wasn't that bad, but i deff. wanted the needle out of me by the end. lol Now i get to wear a fancy sticker that says "Be Nice to Me, I Donated Blood Today!"

I joined a new club. It's a community service fraternity called Alpha Phi Omega, APO. I know what you're thinking, "oh no. Linda feel in the claws of a frat or sorority" but no. It's a co-ed fraternity and it does not hold the same rules of a traditional fraternity. I don't have to live in a house, i don't have to pay thousand dollor fees, there is no hazing, i'm not obligated to do chapters and other things, and it's co-ed. lol  I have to do 25 hours of service a semester and it looks good on your resume. I feel like i'm back in Key Club, doing my part in the world, and i like it.  I joined with Liz and Sarah, but i'm already meeting many new friends. Truefully, one of the reasons why i was double guessing myself if i wanted to join was because even tho its not a frat, it still holds in the greek system because of the name. But it's not a greek fraternity. So i just said whatever to it and joined. So now i'm in 3 clubs and it's looking good. APO will be good for me.

Bradley hosted another concert about 2 weeks ago. Northern Room, Treaty of Paris came back, and Jack's Mannequin performed. It was a pretty good concert, but i was soooo tired that day. I mostly update my facebook with pictures, so if you have facebook, you can check it out.

School is going, i have mostly art classes with one real schoolwork class, accounting, the death of me. I can't get my mind around accounting and it's killing me. I haven't done any real work in there, behind on the reading and studying and i have a test next week. I need to get my ass into gear. Like NOW!!!   Last semester i had mostly gen-eds so i just did my stuff and did good. Like i was always in studying mode, and now, i'm like ..eh whatever. No Linda....get your dumb ass into gear and STUDY. I can yell at myself all i want but i am on xanga talking about it instead of reading. See how i suck at this game. *grrrr*

Family is good, grandma is great, new born babies are ADORABLE!!!!! I wanna steal them away. I have a band concert in 2 weeks. Spring break is in 3 weeks. OMGOSH....that's soooo fast. 2 months away from turning 20! I will become an adult from that moment and on. lol   3 months and 7 days until Spain! Wow....that's fast!  This Friday is a month for Ram and I. That's fast as well but it feels much longer.  So things are rolling and going and everything is great.

Maybe time for an update but a quick one. I'm stalling on reading and doing my work. What's new?

School is kicking and coming along.. Grandma is doing amazingly better. Baby cousin is sick and it's nothing we can do. (no personal details) Listening to Frank Sinatra, love it!  SUPERBOWL today...let's see who wins! Have a new boy, well new boyfriend now. Exciting! Valentine's day is coming. Mom's Birthday wednesday and Ram's 21st. The following month is March, with spring break. Then April, turning 20!  May comes after that, finals, end of sophmore year and i'll be on my way to Spain!!  That's a quick look at the future. lol  I miss Krystal.

It's time to report from the last post i made. Thankfully things cleared up some. The biggest worry was my grandma. For a moment, things were looking bad. I wish i could tell you details to inform you of the terrible conditions my grandma was in but that's too personal. But to sum it up, there was a moment were we thought she might not make it. Some how she started to feel better. She started to eat and gained some energy and she finally left the hospital last week after a week and a half in the hospital. I really tired to keep my cool through all that. The last thing i had time for was a brake down and thankfully i didn't brake down. I saw her Friday and she looked soooo much better. It's a giant relief. My aunt had her baby, on my dad's side, my grandma's daughter. There was a worry for the baby too because it may be sick due to the age my aunt got pregnant. But the baby looks really good. We won't know if the baby is sick until a couple more days i think, but if he is sick, it might be a mild syndrome.  But he is a boy, so adorable!! Now my other aunt on my mom's side of the family also had her baby about a month ago, and trufully, there was a time were we thought that baby was sick also! but no..everything turned out fine. My aunt and uncle are still here from Mexico, but they are leaving wednesday. Everything seems to be going good with my uncle who came here for medical reasons. As you can read...family life got crazy.  But thanks to God, everything is clearing up. I love my family to death and i couldn't stand anything worse happening to them. 

I started school this past week but only had 2 days of class. lol I had to come back home to check up on my family and people were coming over my house this weekend, so it was family obligations. Oh...during the mist of all this, both of my cars broke down. My mom's car broke down last week and my mom was in the freezing cold for 2 whole hours and my dad was outside trying to fix the car for 45 mins. Just standing outside by the express way I355. Then this weekend, my dad's car broke down. They both broke down in about a week and we had to go sooo many places, and we had to adapt to one car.  Like i said, life got a little crazy. So because the lack of one of our cars and the family obligations i had, i failed to visit friends at home. Sorry you guys. Next time.

But thank God, everything is turing out ok. In more uplifting news, i have a whole semester ahead of me. Not really uplifting news because the headaches and the book cramming awaits me. But i will make it through. In less than 3 months, i will turn 20 years old! In about 4 months, i will leave to SPAIN!!!!  It's for sure now. I have the dates, my papers are in, and half of the money is turned in. I will leave May 28 and come back July 1. I will be taking a class over there for 2 weeks and stay another 2 weeks with family friends in Spain. So i will travel Barcalona with the local people. I've been told i may travel to Paris as well and who knows where else. SOOOO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!      As soon as i come back home, 2 days later, family members from Mexico are coming back because the following weekend is my cousin's quince and the following weekend after that is my best friends wedding!!  It's gonna be an AWSOME summer!!!!   But first, i have to get through this school semester.   There are other great news happening to my life but i can not revial it yet!  lol  But things are looking up.
